Ferrite magnets are treated by the direct plastic coating technique. Magnets treated this way do not have any sharp edges and they normally do not pollute an object to be fixed. On the other hand, the magnetic force is decreased by ca 10 %. They can be used as magnets for water, but in this case, we recommend rubber-lined magnets.
